Playful Anna Sui caps off peasant inspired looks with bold hats. This millinery boasts feathers that are sexy and exotic, but create looks that don’t take themselves too seriously. The peasant look is a all favorite, with soft lace and romantic ruffles alluding to 20th century France. Warm color tones add lively character to otherwise somber geometric prints that are sure to be a hit this fall.

The man tailored suit come full circle for women to create a play on androgyny. Lace tights and sequins accessorize stovetop pants and choppy blazers, forming a 60’s mod version of business casual. Busy patterns paired with sleek black tights and contemporary prints under fall overcoats make for perfect matches this season.

Dennis Basso’s elaborate use of luxe mink, luscious fox, glamorous lynx captures Hollywood glamour gal and adds a twist of Mad Max. Each fur is unique in shading and texture, proving the Dennis Basso signature piece is a treat for the wearer this fall. In colder weather, strappy shoes continue to offset the fuller looks even over tights of muted raisin, brick or dull copper tones.

Milly’s sophisticated style adds flirt and femme to subdued fall colors and cold-weather cover-ups. Fur hats, plaid scarves, and fingerless gloves perfectly accessorize fabulous separates, such as metallic gold elbow-sleeve coats, micro-mini tweed skirts, and wool tops. The sleek uptown New York style is balanced with the sexy downtown edge and speaks to chic women everywhere.

There are wonderful shades of mulberry, plum and gold used to highlight the darker fall colors as well as pebbled wool boucles and nubby tweeds to give strong textured accents. The asymetrical shoulder dress in Italian wool jersey features beautiful architectural draping. The collection features newness without resorting to quirkiness. -Francine Rexer, REXER-PARKES/Huntington
