American Cancer Society: Festive in Flip Flops
The inaugural American Cancer Society: Festive in Flip Flops at Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club was an evening of fun for its numerous attendees. The gathering was to recognize and support the Cancer Society’s programs and services on Long Island. These include patient services such as rides to treatment, sleep-away camp for children with cancer and their siblings, crucial research and more.

Independent Group Home Living (IGHL) Women’s Luncheon and Fashion Fling
The Independent Group Home Living (IGHL) Women’s Luncheon and Fashion Fling was recently held at Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach and featured apparel from Cross Golf USA and Renee’s of Mattituck. Proceeds went to IGHL, an org providing comprehensive assistance to those with developmental disabilities.

The Hamptons Black International Film Festival recently took place over an early fall weekend in New York City, Sag Harbor and Montauk theaters. Domestic and international shorts, features and documentaries were shown, each selected “by and for but not limited to people of African descent,” as the organization states.

Tanzania Watoto Fund
The Tanzania Watoto Fund is run by Stony Brook University’s International Academic Programs Office and benefits orphanages in Mto wa Mbu, Tanzania. Every summer, Dr. William Arens leads an anthropology-based study abroad program to visit and assist these orphanages along with clinics and schools.

Our international cast of models walked the runway at Four Food Studio while guests oohed and ahhed over cocktails.
