I heard you mention the International surgical mission group who went to Haiti. They are trying to get home from West Palm saturday and have no way to get from west palm to Long Ilsand. Do you know of anyone who would be willing to help the 17 people ont eh team to get back?
Please conact me via telephone or email.

As I told you yesterday when you called to yell at me, we are not a Christian only magazine. We use the word “holiday” so as not to exclude anyone but to include everyone. FYI, we use the word “Christmas” in our Pulse Rate at least 5 times.
We have always enjoyed the Long Island Pulse’s event coverage, special sections, visiting contributor’s pieces, and stories.
However, the December issue was very offensive to us, the Butler and Grucci families, Knights of Columbus, and I darn say the vass majority of all parishioners of every church and parish on Long Island.
Why are we upset? The issue didn’t have one mention of Christmas, except for Christmas Décor back inside cover ad. Instead every time holiday was substituted-‘holiday helping”; “ultimate holiday gift guide”; and the best the your “winter party.”
If your objective was to insult and loss 78% of your readers, you certainly hit your mark. Don’t believe me, do your own poll and please publish the results.
Merry Christmas
Philip Butler
