Successful fashion designer turned entrepreneur/real estate developer Cyrus Hakakian, co-owner of Lowe Properties, is playing a big part in revitalizing downtown Westbury with the projected early spring opening of The Westbury Performing Arts Center. The building is being restored to its 1927 Vaudeville theater glory and will feature a comprehensive roster of performances. The facility will also contain a restaurant, coffeehouse and artist housing.
