Editorial Internship

Long Island Pulse Magazine seeks motivated college students or recent college grad for internships (unpaid) in the Editorial Department. Candidate must be creative, flexible, and proactive, and have the ability to work in a busy but fun environment both on his/her own and with a group. English, Journalism, Writing, Communication majors preferred, but open to any candidate with a passion for the written word.

Editorial Internship duties include but are not limited to copy editing, research, fact checking and writing.

Public Relations/Marketing/Communications Internship

Long Island Pulse Magazine seeks motivated college students for internships (unpaid) in public relations, marketing and communication department. Candidate must be creative, flexible, and proactive, and have the ability to work in a busy but fun environment both on his/her own and with a group. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are a must as are basic knowledge of social media.

Candidates will work with communications director on various aspects of public relations, marketing and communications including but not limited to social networking (online and in person), event planning and preparation, research, draft press releases and more.
