Dr. Marotta attained his education at some of the finest institutions in the world. He attended Columbia University and graduated as president of the medical honor society at Stony Brook School of Medicine. He trained at Yale University in head and neck surgery and was consistently recognized as the top surgeon in the program. Dr. Marotta then completed additional subspecialty training as a fellow in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at one of the leading facial plastic fellowships in the country.

Dr. Marotta’s extensive training in the highly complex anatomy of the face makes him a leader in his field. Recognized as a full facial rejuvenation specialist, Dr. Marotta is a forerunner in reconstructive as well as cosmetic surgery. He is actively involved in the teaching and training of other physicians in his position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Stony Brook and donates his time and surgical skills to help domestic violence victims and children with congenital birth defects. Dr. Marotta is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and has been named one of “America’s Top Doctors.”
