Café Buenos Aires pays homage to Hugo’s homeland and the sexy, masculine eateries that dot that country’s capital. All the details are here, from leather-bound menus, to an elegant tiled floor that complements the rich, dark wood ambiance and a wine list that won’t quit. The cuisine bears a heavy Spanish influence (rather than the predictable Italian one) and flares of Hugo’s unique inventions. Exotic additions to the menu round out traditional steak, meat and seafood dishes common in South America, like Vacio Asado Gaucho Steak (steak with melted blue cheese and Malbec reduction) that loses nothing in translation.
