Lynchburg Lemonade

Author: Long Island Pulse | Published: Friday, July 22, 2011

Lynchburg Lemonade

This cocktail of the “sour” family is straight from the sultry south. Alabama restaurateur Tony Mason concocted the drink back in 1980, and won a lawsuit against the Jack Daniel’s distillery itself when they took credit for the drink’s invention.

Ingredients:
1 part Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
1 part triple sec
1 part sour mix

Stir all ingredients with 4 parts lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a lemon slice and cherries.
