So, I know there was at least one imposter here while I was out—yet again! I can smell them everywhere. Why do humans think dogs are stupid just because we don’t speak English? Let me tell you, I’m not. This is highly frustrating. I walked in this morning feeling grand. Then, BAM! Others! And I know one of them played with my squishy cell phone. Who was here? I bet you my next treat that I smelled those two Beagles of Kenny’s. Well, I’ll show them…just wait until he leaves his lunch unattended. But, I finally got my iMix up so I’ll just sit back and listen for a while…

Well, it finally happened. They finally sold the Pulse Mobile! I knew something was up when all of the covers of Pulse decorating the outside of the car were somehow removed. I sure am going to miss spreading out in the back seat on the way to Grandma’s house when we have to take something over there. I think when I was a wee-bitty puppy they brought me home in that car. Then, later, we started the magazine out of that car. We used to go on trips that would last all morning dropping off the magazines to dr’s offices and restaurants and stores all over Long Island. That was, of course, before we hired our fantastic distribution team, LIPD, to deliver Pulse. It was a Navigator- and it had the best sound system! Everyone drove it, too. It was like everyone’s second car-even the interns used to take it out. The Pulse Mobile will always have a spot in my heart that no other car can replace. I heard that it went to a good home though, which makes me feel a little bit better but it will definitely be missed!

Who said pumpkins can’t be made into ice cream? Let me tell you from my own personal experience: They can. Today is Kenny’s birthday and we had pumpkin/peanut butter ice cream cake from Carvel, you know, the one in St. James. Those guys can make any flavor.  I’m glad the Pulse people were able to peel themselves away from finishing the Winter Issue to take a break because I got to have a slice of the pie, literally! I never get sweets but today was a special occasion. All day long they have been talking about gift guide this, holiday party that and facebook friends here and more of those 2D barcodes there. But, at least I got to listen to some good music from our new iTunes store on the website. My favorite is the On Deadline iMix. Hey, wait a minute. Everyone else has an iMix what about me? Maybe I’ll slip in a note in the suggestion box in the kitchen. Corinne will help me.

I wonder who’s birthday is coming up next? Maybe they’ll get raspberry next time…I’ve always wanted to try that…

Well it’s Monday and I’m back in the office as usual. I had a long weekend so it’s high time to catch up on some ZZZZZs in the sun on my bed next to the window in Nada’s office. I was planning on finding my rainbow squeaky toy, but there must have been an impostor in here while I was at the groomer because it somehow disappeared last week. I overheard Matt talking about some other hound named Soleil something or other who was apparently running around like an animal. Geez, some dogs just don’t know how to be ladylike—I think she ate it.

For that matter, it has been a little chaotic around the office lately. I think we’re all going to be here late tonight because they are trying to wrap up the last issue of the year. I keep hearing them talk about some kind of holiday gift guide??? Maybe there will be a new toy for me featured in there. Ooo maybe we’ll get a sample of one, even better! And what’s all this about 2D barcodes? They keep taking pictures of these so called barcodes on those weird mobile devices that they all have. They must be getting free stuff.

Everyone just ate lunch and Mike is making a fresh pot of coffee. Where’s MY dessert? At least I was able to get a few scraps from Corinne, I always manage to get treats from her. I don’t even have to do much. Speaking of food, I think it’s someone’s birthday tomorrow because I heard them all whispering about getting ice cream cake. But then that gift guide again—Ben was asking about some fudge being featured. Hmmm, they should let me sample the stuff, I’m the one with the great sense of smell. And it looks so good. Maybe when no one is looking…
