Spider Bite Beer Company poured I’m On A Boat, a dry, low-roast stout brewed with oysters (though sea presence was minimal), and Pirate Eye Black IIPA, which possessed a dominant, garden-smell bite, at Sp Aye, Der Aye Bite Invades The Cortland, a pirate-themed, 2012 Long Island Craft Beer Week showcase on May 12.

The event-only releases were accompanied by complimentary pirate eye patches.
