Jazzy chanteuse Norah Jones has released her fourth album The Fall along with the track “Chasing Pirates.” The silky vocals are still present but the song veers from her somewhat orthodox smooth jazz tendencies into poppy rhythms and textures.

Originally born out of the ashes of Nirvana, alternative/hard rock darlings the Foo Fighters now have enough memorable musical moments to warrant a greatest hits package. The new song on the album, “Wheels,” rocks hard and has catchy melodies and harmonies.

Canadian indie pop twins Tegan & Sara have released their sixth album Sainthood and the track “Hell.” Hardly hellish, the track is aggressive with assertive vocals, hooks a mile wide and an unmistakably modern pop sheen.
